Two new initiatives!
Hey guys,
We are currently in the process of developing two exciting initiatives for this spring:
(1) Youth Mentorship
Passionate about youth mentorship? We will be holding a presentation at a local elementary school here in Kingston on Friday March 11, 2011. Topics will include cyberbullying, internet privacy, time management, and recognizing safe and unsafe websites. Ideas are always welcome!
(2) Microfinancing
We are also planning a Microfinance Awareness Week here at Queen’s, where we plan on spreading the word about this great initiative and raising a bit of money to donate to the cause. We will also be hosting a guest speaker courtesy of Opportunity International!

Take Action! Tooklit
Take Action! Organization is currently looking for creative and committed writers to write for its Leadership Toolkit. This is a great opportunity to publish your work and get involved with a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team.
We are looking for writers from any discipline that can bring their dynamic experiences to this project. No prior experience with blogging or professional writing is necessary, and therefore we encourage anyone with an interest to apply. Learn more about the opportunity and the application process here.
