Take Action Day 2012
Take Action Day is a day to show that small KIND ACTS can make HUGE IMPACTS. Just one act of kindness can have a ripple effect in your community. By performing small acts and passing on good deed onto others, you will create chains of acts of kindness that can multiply into many, many more. This event will be taking place simultaneously across Ontario university campuses.
At Queen’s University on February 16th, we will be distributing cards in the morning that will help us track how a small act of kindness is passed on. The card will have several spaces for you to jot down your name, the act, as well as the location. Pass on the card to the next person to whom you perform a small act of kindness to, be it your friend or a complete stranger. Bring back the cards to the drop off spots at the end of the day, and we will be able to map down how far your small act of kindness has gone! Please stay tuned for the pick up and drop off locations!
We are still accepting volunteers to help out in the preparation and execution of the event. If you are interested, please email us for more information.
Remember: YOUR act of kindness can make someone’s day! YOU can impact the world around you – one small act at a time.
Stay tuned for more information on this event!
